The 39th match of the IPL 2018 played between SRH vs RCB at the Sunrisers home ground Hyderabad. What a match this has been. Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling has been top-notch throughout the tournament. Whatever target they have to defend in any condition, Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling is dependable, trustable and the winning formula for the team. This also happened in the match between SRH vs RCB. Bangalore won the toss and decided to field. SRH batting first only managed to put 146 runs on the board.

Alex Hales and Shikhar Dhawan the opening pair of the SRH couldn’t provide the team with an explosive start and got out at the score of 5 runs and 13 runs respectively. Manish Pandey also got out cheaply contributing to the slow start. However, Captain Kane Williamson played a powerful knock of 56 runs in just 39 balls hitting 5 fours and 2 sixes. Joining him Shakib Al Hasan scored 35 runs in 32 balls providing the much-needed stability to the Sunrisers Hyderabad team.

The team SRH got all out for 146 runs by superb RCB bowling effort. Tim Southee was the best bowler for RCB. He bowled 4 overs giving 30 runs and taking a total of 3 wickets. Mohammed Siraj also was the best bowler for RCB. He bowled 4 overs giving just 25 runs and also taking 3 wickets. Another economical bowler Yuzvendra Chahal bowled 4 overs giving 25 runs and taking 1 wicket.

RCB got a low target to chase but it was not against any other bowling attack, it was against the Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling attack. Opening batsman Parthiv Patel made quick 20 runs in 13 balls hitting 4 fours. And another opening batsman Manan Vohra got out cheaply for 8 runs in 10 balls. Virat Kohli fired up the scoring machine with a couple of overs going over 15 runs. He made 39 runs off 30 balls hitting 5 fours and 1 six. Ab De Villiers and Moen Ali didn’t contribute much to the cause of RCB and got out early. However, a partnership built up between Mandeep Singh and Collin De Grandhomme of 57 runs in 50 balls. The match went to the last over. A six was needed off the last ball. But Collin got bowled by Bhubaneshwar Kumar.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Bowling star Sandeep Sharma bowled 4 overs giving just 20 runs and took 1 wicket. Bhuvneshwar Kumar got 1 wicket in 4 overs giving 27 runs. Furthermore, Shakib Al Hasan took 2 wickets giving 36 runs in 4 overs. And Siddarth Kaul bowled 4 overs giving 25 runs and taking 1 wicket. Rashid Khan took the wicket of Ab De Villiers.

RCB lost the match and almost all the hopes for the playoff. Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling has kept the team at the top of the points table so far so good. SRH beats RCB by 5 runs. RCB made 141 at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
