They had a partnership of 89 runs that was missing for a long time in Hyderabad inning. Shikhar Dhawan made another fifty in just 39 balls. Furthermore, Kane Williamson played an explosive knock of 36 runs in just 17 balls. Shreevats Goswami made 35 runs in 26 balls and Manish Pandey made 25 runs off 22 balls. In their last 7 overs, SRH could only manage to get 45 runs and lost wickets in quick succession.

Batting for KKR, Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine provided an explosive start. They made 52 run partnership in just 3.4 overs when Sunil Narine got out. Chris Lynn scored a nice 55 runs off 43 balls. Whereas, Sunil Narine scored 29 off just 10 balls. Robin Uthappa with Chris Lynn had a strong partnership of 67 runs off 57 balls. Uthappa made 45 runs in34 balls. However, Dinesh Karthik played as a finisher scoring 26 runs not out helping KKR beats SRH in style. The power player Andre Russel got out early. The player of the match won by Chris Lynn.

KKR bowler Prasidh Krishna bowled the best spell of 4 overs taking4 wickets giving just 30 runs. The evergreen Sunil Narine bowled economically his spell of 4 overs giving just 23 runs and taking one wicket.

The Hyderabad bowlers famous for defending any score whatsoever failed miserably. Only Siddarth Kaul’s bowling figures stand out much. he bowled 4 overs giving 26 runs and taking 2 wickets. Furthermore, Rashid Khan, Shakib Al Hassan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar didn’t perform as per their potential. Therefore, KKR beats SRH in style with 5 wickets in hand and 5 balls to spare. Their position to the playoff is confirmed standing at the third position in the points table.
