Furthermore, Jos Buttler played an explosive inning hitting 2 sixes and 8 fours scoring 69 runs not out of just 46 balls. Jason Roy made 30 runs off 20 balls hitting 5 fours. England posted a target of 159 runs for India.
Bowling for India, Umesh Yadav bowled economically bowling 4 0vers giving 21 runs and taking 2 wickets. However, Kuldeep Yadav bowled exceptionally well taking a 5-wicket haul in his 4 overs giving only 24 runs. Indian bowlers did a super job despite an attacking opening inning partnership by Jason Roy and Jos Buttler. Hardik Pandya also took one wicket.

India batting started not on a very good note as Shikhar Dhawan got out just after scoring four runs. However, Rohit Sharma and Lokesh Rahul build inning from there on. They build a good partnership of 126 runs. Furthermore, Lokesh rahul scored 101 runs not out off just 54 balls hitting 10 fours and 5 sixes. Whereas Rohit Sharma scored 32 runs off 30 balls hitting 2 sixes before getting caught out. However, Virat Kohli looked confident and played a not out inning of 20 runs in 22 balls after two consecutive bad innings previously. India finished the game with 10 balls to spare. England’s best bowler Adil Rashid bowled 4 overs giving 25 runs and taking 1 wicket. Chris Jordan bowled economically 4 overs giving 27 runs. Moen Ali went expensive in his 2.2 overs giving away 37 runs. India scored 163 runs at the loss of 2 wickets in 18.2 overs.
