The 1st T20 match of the Tri-Series played between Zim vs Pak at Harare. Pakistan lived up to its Rank 1 status in T20 format and won the game comfortably. In Zim vs Pak 1st T20 match, Pakistan beats Zimbabwe by 74 runs. The Tri-Series is being played in Zimbabwe. Australia, Pakistan and Zimbabwe are the participating teams.

After winning the toss Zimbabwe opted to field first.

It was a one-sided fight between Zim vs Pak. However, it was a spirited inning of Asif Ali and Fakhar Zaman who almost single-handedly took their team to win the game in style.

Batting first Pakistan, Fakhar Zaman build a solid inning of 60 runs in just 41 balls hitting 3 fours and 3 sixes. Whereas, Mohammad Hafeez tried to hit big shots there but fell short. Therefore, Pakistan didn’t have a good start. Captain Sarfraz Ahmed made 16 runs off 15 balls. Shoaib Malik scored 37 runs off 24 balls hitting 1 six and 2 fours. However, Asif Ali with his exceptional hitting scored 41 runs off just 21 balls striking 4 sixes in total. So, Pakistan was able to score 182 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs.

Tendai Chisoro bowled exceptionally well for Scotland. He bowled 4 overs giving just 28 runs and taking 2 wickets. Furthermore, Kyle Jarvis bowled economically 2 overs giving away 9 runs and taking 1 wicket. Whereas, Blessing Muzarabani was the most expensive bowler. He bowled 4 overs giving away 46 runs without a wicket.

Chasing a mountain of a target of 183 runs Zimbabwe opener Chamu Chibahabha got out for a duck. Whereas, Solomon Mire made 27 runs in 29 balls hitting 2 sixes and a four. Tarisai Musakanda was the best batsman in Zimbabwe team who scored 43 runs off 35 balls hitting just 2 fours. Furthermore, Captain Hamilton Masakadza made only 7 runs in just 8 balls hitting a six. Whereas, star player against England Elton Chigumbura didn’t perform well. He scored only 14 runs off 10 balls. From there on, wickets kept on falling regularly and no stable partnership was recorded. But, they could only manage 108 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in just 17.5 overs.

However, Mohammad Nawaz from Pakistan bowled exceptionally well his 4 overs giving away just 11 runs with 2 wickets. Furthermore, Usman Khan, Hasan Ali, and Mohammad Hafeez also took two wickets. In the end, Pakistan beats Zimbabwe by 74 runs. Pakistan leads the T20 Tri-Series played at Zimbabwe.
